You couldn’t ask for nicer weather for a wedding day.
Mid 20′s, no wind, a little on the hot side, and just the right amount of cloud cover. The couple of days prior to Karolina & Patrick’s wedding were laced with rain and thunderstorms, but, anyone who lives in or around the Toronto area knows that the weatherman can’t really predict 5 o’clock at 4:30Clouds parted, and the sun emerged. An amazing day, spent with some amazing people.
The couple exchanged their vows and wedding rings at the St.Maximilian Kolbe church in Mississauga. I’ve shot at that location quite a few times and really enjoy capturing the wedding ceremony there. Afterwards we were off to Adamson Estate for some photos and to the Royal Ambassador for the reception.
The couple held their reception in the event tent that was set up on the grounds of Royal Ambassador, the decor, the floral arrangements, the music, and the light were all perfect. Efficiently organized and beautifully arranged, my work was cut out for me when it came time to shoot some of the details.
I had to cut down on a lot of images to keep the blog post from being too large and slow loading, and I try to keep my own attention span in mind when viewing photographs. If I find myself scrolling quickly, there are too many photos :)))
Big thanks goes out to Lew from Engaging Images who assisted me on the day. He took care of the groom’s prep in the morning and offered a refreshing 2nd angle point of view of the events. The best part about being in the event tent? I watched the sun slowly set and managed to grab my bride and groom for 5 minutes to utilize the beautiful golden light
I hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane of the Karolina and Patrick’s wedding day as this awesome couple anxiously awaits the birth of their first babyCongratulations to you guys, you will make great parents.
